LINCOLN LYNX ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
(LLAA)
(LLAA)
The ’58 Reunion Committee encourages everyone to join the LLAA. This is a great way to keep in contact with Lincoln HS and learn what is happening. The LLAA is a non-profit organization that promotes and preserves the history of Lincoln High School and promotes activities that strengthen bonds between it's members. Membership in the LLAA is open to any person who has attended Lincoln High School, as a student, Staff, or faculty member.
The LLAA has a great Scholarship program for lineal descendants of graduates of Lincoln! Several of our own classmate's children have benefited from these scholarships.
The LLAA just hosted a terrific 100 Year Celebration in September at the school. It was great to "walk the halls" again! Over 450 former Lynx attended; I believe the class of '58 was the most represented ("58 is great"). Several other 100 Year events are planned including a T-Day Dance (Feb. 16, 2008), Wallingford Kiddies Day Parade (July 12, 2008). There is also the Annual All Class Luncheon (May 17, 2008 at the Nile G&CC) plus plenty of other activities you might consider and enjoy.
Our own Bill Brown ('58) was the President for the past 4 years and has contributed in rejuvenating the LLAA. He has just stepped down and handed the torch off to capable hands. Job well done, Bill!
The LLAA produces the TOTEM II newspaper and is mailed to all members 3 times a year. This is a great source of information and helps to make you feel "back in school"!
Bonnie (Rudd) Lambing (’58) is our Totem II Class Rep. She’s always looking for interesting articles from our class. I’m sure she’d love to hear from you,; as we all would. She can be contacted at: russbon05@aol.com .
